Recently, the St Regis Atlanta Residences handed over the keys to their suites to three of Atlanta’s most celebrated interior designers Suzanne Kasler, Patricia McLean and Stan Topol. The three were allowed carte blanche to fill out the posh pads from the kitchens’ gleaming subway-tiles to the last piece of collectible art. Here are the VERY polished results—in styles that range from traditional (McLean) to the transitional (Kasler) and modern (Topol).
Besides producing gorgeous interiors, this showy exercise was meant to demonstrates that whatever your design mojo, the elegant spaces of the St. Regis Residences can conform to your aesthetic quite nicely. And after all, who doesn’t want to live the five-star hotel life year-round with amenities such as a dreamy two-level pool piazza, the glass solarium Wine Room, Paces 88 cuisine and St. Regis’ signature butler service at your fingertips?
The residences are nothing to sniff at either with “good bones,” 10-foot ceilings, lots of light, scenic views, expansive balconies with fireplaces, walk-in closets, luxurious bathrooms, state-of-the-art kitchens, and even a designer in-apartment gym should you desire it. A prime Buckhead location within a stone’s throw of such destination spots as Chops, Whole Foods and the new Drybar only add to the allure. Custom builders Berndsen Company, Hixon Homes and Malone Construction collaborated with the three interior designers on the show rooms. Patricia McLean’s space is very chic and traditional. It’s got a “Park Avenue apartment” feel with custom marble floors and a mirrored archway in the foyer, hand-painted de Gournay wallpaper in the dining room and a well-dressed bed in the master. Suzanne Kasler’s elegant transitional space is swathed in a sophisticated palette of rich chocolate brown and tiffany blue colors, with a very “collected” feel due to it’s artfully layered accessories. It’s a bit Continental in style. Lastly, Stan Topol’s modern lair emodies laid-back luxe with a primarily neutral palette boosted by some major pops of color via strategically placed statement art. All told, the three spaces are intended to be a visual calling card for The St. Regis Residences and its re-launch under new owners, Tavistock Group. Given the polish of these showrooms, we think their will soon be a run on these posh properties!
The St Regis Residences includes 52 luxury units, with 29 currently available. The available residences range from 3,200 to more than 7,200 square feet and priced from $750 to more than $900 per square foot. For more information contact 404.261.3820 or www.88westpacesferry.com
