Two new burger and beer deals put the bang back into beef

Skip the drive-ins when you’ve got two first-class Atlanta restaurants offering up blue-plate burger deals (plus a cold frosty one).
PATTY AND PINT NIGHT AT SERPAS TRUE FOOD
On Tuesday nights from 5:30 to 10PM chef Scott Serpas is serving up a customizable version of his signature Big Papa’s beef patty (a chuck, sirloin, brisket blend) topped with homemade red wine dressing, lettuce, pickles and served with crispy fries and a cold draft beer pint for just $10. For $1-$2 each, customize your buger with an array of toppings such as smoked cheddar cheese, fried egg, green tomato jam, crispy pork belly, roasted green chiles and more.

JCT’S FRITO PIE BURGER & BEER SPECIAL
JCT. Bar is offering a “Burger and Beer” special every Tues. through Thursday from 5-10PM. Not just any burger but a junkfood lover’s delight, a Frito Pie Burger by chef/owner Ford Fry. The house-ground brisket burger is piled high with chili, housemade “Frito” corn chips and pickled jalapenos. It is served up along with the choice of one of three Unita brews—Wyld Extra Pale Ale, Baba Black Lager or Hopnotch IPa for a cool $10.
