ADAC Grand Opening
A designer party in Peachtree Hills
Atlanta Decorative Arts Center flung open its doors to the public with a grand gala at its signature John Portman-designed and owned showrooms and a bevy of Atlanta’s top design talent and design lovers turned out to celebrate the landmark moment.

Atlanta’s most noted design talents and design lovers from the general public turned out in stylish swarms to celebrate the opening of ADAC to the public for the first time in its over 50-year history. After a red carpet entry, guest proceeded into the chic interior, filled with white orchids, candles and ice sculptures courtesy of A Legendary Event. Patrons enjoyed cocktails, elegant dinner stations, and a DJ while strolling the multi-levels of ADAC and admiring the stunning designer showroom windows, dressed up for the occasion. Among the see and be seen crowd: Bill Peace, Smith Hanes, Paige Smith, John Oetgen, Tish Mills, Christy Dillard, Heidi Pearce, Shane Robuck, Sabina Carr, Chip Cheatham, Kristen Marooney, Jason and Andrea Moattar, and HGTV design star Brian Patrick Flynn.
