Notable Atlantans tangoed, hustled and quick-stepped for Alzheimers and an entertaining evening was had by all.

The Highlights

A constellation of notable Atlantans performed tangos, hustles, quick-steps and Lindys for this years “Dancing Stars of Atlanta” to benefit the Georgia chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Duvall Fuqua, with her professional dance partner Joshua Ingraham, took home the “People’s Choice” Award for her electrifying Argentinian Tango. Dr. Sandra Fryhofer and her professional dance partner Jonathan Doone won the “Judges’ Award” for Best Dancing with their lively Quickstep and Lindy Hop combination. Equally entertaining dancing stars included former Atlanta first lady Valerie Jackson, Amanda Brown-Olmstead, Michele Swann, Mitchell Barnes, John Grant, Rodney Cook Jr., Steve Welsh and Chuck Wolf.
