The Party Details
More than 500 guests, some summoned via an invite that included a custom STK flask of whiskey, packed the sexy restaurant for a private fete to celebrate the restaurant’s one-year anniversary. “Fire and Ice” was the theme of the party and the theme was carried out to a “T” with a hot crowd of scenesters, hot go-go dancers in snow bunny costumes, hot DJ London Thomas spinning in the DJ booth, as well as ultra-cool ice sculpture luges dispensing Belvedere vodka, a magical real snowfall within the restaurant and a Siberian white tiger, Delilah, on display courtesy of the Chestatee Wildlife Reserve. Guests were treated to STK mini ice cream cones and signature Belvedere cocktails, including the Green Intensity and the Strawberry Cobbler. At the end of the evening, revelers departed with a souvenir bottle of STK’s signature steak sauce. A core group of STK supporters also enjoyed a private dinner created by STK executive chef Jeremy Miller, prior to the bash. The fashionable and fierce crowd was rivaled only by the equally fierce (but adorable) tiger mascot.
Among the media, fashion, and sports-heavy crowd were: Former Atlanta Falcon Coy Wire and wife Claire Wire, CNN’s Brook Baldwin, Project Runway’s Mychael Knight, Go-Go Gallerist Fay Gold, Jeffrey’s Don Purcell, Whynatte founder Jesse Altman, Marcus Marshall, Sallie Johnston, Bill Kaelin, Marni Seidel, Liza Dunning, Jason McAllister, Axel Lowe, Meg Reggie, Michael Gidewon, Liz Torres, John Eckel, Mary Louise Fitzgibbon, Atlanta Falcons’ Michael Palmer, HLN Express Host Ryan Smith.
