Straight from Italy, Giambattista Valli’s couture creations ruled the runways for the Forward Arts Foundation’s annual soirée at the St. Regis Atlanta.

The Venue
The Astor Ballroom of the St. Regis Atlanta in Buckhead, with décor and florals by Kathy Rainer and Tricky Wolfes of “Parties to Die For.”
The Highlights
Ladies dressed in their afternoon best (and a few gents) enjoyed a champagne reception, followed by an Italian-themed lunch in honor of featured fashion designer Gianbattista Valli. The runway was awash in gorgeous frocks and capes from Valli’s Spring 2012 Collection, culminating with a parade of frothy ball gowns, including a show-stopping Tango-red number.

The Cause
The annual event benefits the Forward Arts Foundation and its 45-year history of support of the visual arts in Atlanta, including contributions to The High Museum of Art, The Atlanta History Center, The Michael C. Carlos Museum, MOCA GA, The Emerging Artist Award and SCAD Atlanta.
