Cherubic children were the cause and the entertainment (in part) for this elegant but family-friendly charity gala.
Nearly 700 supporters attended this year’s JDRF Hope for a Cure Gala, co-chaired by Meg and Jeff Arnold and Pam and Bobby Kaufmann. This year’s black-tie gala was held at the InterContinental Hotel Buckhead and honored philanthropists Carter and John Hipp. The elegant ballroom was decked out by Barbara Roos of Bold American, while John Pruitt and Monica Pearson served as the night’s emcees. The evening included a cocktail reception, a luxury live auction, and a seated gourmet dinner. The evening raised more than $1.5 million for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, with 100% of all proceeds going directly to diabetes research. Among the chic crowd: Laura Turner Seydel, Sandra and Dan Baldwin, Jill and John Kampfe, Abigail and William Propst, Donna and Andrew Cash, Neal and Wendy Aronson, Michelle and Steve Sullivan, Marc and Carol Gendell.
Presenting sponsors included InterContinental Hotels Group, Novo Nordisk, Roos Company, and Specialty Operations Solutions. For more information visit: www.jdrfgeorgia.org/
