Party Notes

A legion of cultural leaders, who also happen to be ladies-who-lunch, turned up to fill the ballroom of Atlanta History Center to capacity. Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception, delicious lunch by Carole Parks Catering and a special presentation by Natchez-born but NYC-based fashion designer Hilton Hollis. Hollis regaled the crowds with tales of his training under Calvin Klein, his artistic inspiration for his “Ethereal Angels” Spring 2013 collection of polished pieces, and his Southern craving for chicken salad from Atlanta favorite, Henri’s Bakery. After the luncheon and lecture, guests enjoyed an informal show of models clad in Hilton Hollis Spring looks.
