Party Highlights

More than 600 patrons enjoyed a black tie gala at The Ritz-Carlton Buckhead, with this year’s theme of “Oasis” lending the style note to the occasion. From the minute they arrived, guests were transported to a lush oasis via event designer Tony Brewer & Company, complete with camels, a bazaar filled with fabulous auction items,  fine dining, exotic entertainment and after-hours dancing at the Sultan’s After Party. One of the highlights of the evening was the premiere of a video about the epilepsy camp program provided by the EFGA and its partners, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Camp Twin Lakes. Special guests for the evening were several of the campers and their families who appeared in the video. WSB-TV anchor John Bachman served as the emcee of the event. Over $500,000 was raised for The Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia. UCB, The Epilepsy Center was the Presenting Sponsor. Platinum Sponsors included Fran and Ron Terwilliger, Patricia B. Terwilliger Family Foundation, and founder of Nsoro Foundation Darrel J. Mays.
