A hip committee of hosts, The Moderns, set the buzzy scene, including Emily Amy, Jonathan Baker, Tucker Berta, Rebecca Bily, Cinda and Mark Boomershine, Tamara Bowens, Sarah and Michael Dorio, Michael Habachy, Kristen Hard, Holli Hines Easton, Felicia Feaster and Bret Wood, Pablo Henderson, Bill Kaelin, Gene Kansas, Liz Lapidus, Anthony Liggins, Yu-Kai Lin, Tom and Jada Loveless, Kristen Marooney, Shane Robuck, Palmer Carter Stratton and Doug Stratton, Todd Tautfest, Tommy Taylor, Uri Vaknin, Alex West.
The Sifly Piazza of the High Museum
Guests lounged on the piazza of the High Museum, sipped cocktail, enjoyed haute bites, previewed the MoMA’s Picasso to Warhol exhibit of 14 modern masters from Picasso to Matisse, and danced until midnight to the grooves and later disco tunes of DJ Maseo of De La Soul. Several gorgeous hosts and guests (Monica Dioda, Emily Amy, Liz Lapidus, Kate Thacker, etc) were dressed for the night in Ferragamo’s va-va-voom collection of black-and-white gowns. Hosts wore Warhol buttons that ranged from images of his Marilyn Monroe to his most famous quotes. A sleekly modern lounge décor and graphic, glowing red bar were provided by Tony Brewer and Company, while an atmospheric light show was projected on the façade of the museum building.
