The theme of The Michael C. Carlos Museum’s spring gala, “Night of the Jaguar,” was taken from a current exhibit on shamanic art, but the works of local, contemporary artists stole the show. Each table got a unique centerpiece, crafted by local artists specializing in everything from graffiti art to paper sculpture.
