This year’s ASO Decorators’ Show House and Gardens is taking a decidedly Gallic slant with a formal, French chateau by Atlanta architect William T. Baker as the set-piece for more than a dozen star designer’s decors. The stately limestone house is nestled in the West Paces Ferry neighborhood of Buckhead. Other features of the haute house include a slate roof, leaded windows, French paneling, marble mantles and wood parquet floors. The garden is equally gorgeous, by landscape architect Ed Castro, and will be featured as part of this year’s Gardens for Connoisseurs Tour with the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

Meanwhile, the gracious interiors will be re-imagined in traditional and modern styles by more than a dozen of the SouthEast’s top designers, including Melanie Turner (Master Suite), Michael Habachy (Cigar Room & Media Hall), Boxwoods (Breakfast Room), Robert Brown (Dining Room), Bill Peace (Sitting Room), Jimmy Stanton (Upstairs Lounge); Patricia McLean (Living Room), Courtney Giles Decker (Downstairs Office); Bill Musso (Foyer); and Kolo Collection (Terrace).

The show house debuts with a chic, black-and-white themed cocktail April 19 and will be on show from April 20-May 12.

This year’s show house is chaired by Natalie Miller, with Amy Musarra as design chair and Liz and Mike Troy as honorary chairs. Proceeds benefit The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and its education and community engagement programs. See the website for a list of April/May special guest lifestyle lectures and booksignings and info about the on-site café.
